I’m a streetwalking cheetah with a heart full of napalm

Years ago, I bought a t-shirt from Wet Seal (remember that place? I worked there for years. embarrassing fact #1) that had the words Search and Destroy emblazoned on the front in silver. The skinny hipster (before it really caught on) in my English class asked if I was a fan of the song. He was pretty cute, despite the unwashed hair, so I said “Oh yeah, it’s awesome.” I had no idea what he was talking about. I finally heard the song last year and I was right- it is awesome. Anyway…

My outfit today isn’t especially Iggy Pop-esque. And my jeans are too tight. All my jeans are a little too tight these days. But it’s okay- I was tired of eating food anyway.

Chloe kitten was woken up from a nap and not in the mood to pose for the camera. Such a diva.

Nothing like listening to tracks from the nineties while at work. Now that the weather is nice, I have nothing to complain about, and therefore, nothing to write about. So, uh, here are some outfits!

Like so many others, I am desperate for warm weather and the opportunity to start wearing my summer clothes again. So I’m stuck layering for now.

Part one: pretty shirt. feels like spring. except for the goosebumps on my arms.

Picture 351

Part two: despite my animal print, I am truly a delicate flower.

Picture 345

part three: I’ve finally accepted the fact that it’s not yet spring.

part four: my favorite cold weather accessory for keeping my neck warm.

I’m not really loving my outfit, but it was the best I could muster after waking up to an overcast, rainy sky. Again. Just a little sun, man. That’s all I’m asking.

And how was your weekend? Chloe kitten had a playdate. It did not bode well for her playmate that she is twice his size. It was amusing watching her bop him in the head every time he walked by her.

I went to a dance class on Saturday. Street Funk, thank you very much. I was next to this guy who was absolutely terrible new at dancing and it kept throwing me off. Does that happen to other people?

I can’t stop wearing this top. LOVE IT. I “borrowed” it from my mom ages ago and… she’s not getting it back. Sorry mom!

Remember my aversion to business clothes? Apparently, Chloe Kitten has no problem with them. She’s quite happy in proper business attire.

Yes, my girl cat is wearing a necktie. I think it’s quite chic, with a vintage vibe :)
