A few days ago, I posted this mag cover that was getting a lot of lack for the font used. I personally loved it. I’m ambivalent on this one, however. I love anything sans serif, but this seems to detailed, too bold. Considering the headline is “Technique- Revealing the Craft of Fashion” I think something even simpler and starker would work better. What are your thoughts?

What do you think? The cover and text isn’t getting a lot of love on The Fashion Spot, but I adore it. The image is great, and the font reinforces the idea of hardness that you get from the concrete wall Anja is leaning on. Love her name, by the way. Maybe that’ll be the next pet name.

Pattern mixing. My archnemisisis. I love the leopard top and penicl skirt. I might be hunting down a similarly patterned skirt to recreate this look.
I love to feature new models here, especially ethnically diverse models who seem to be doing well in other countries, but are not getting the same response in the U.S. I’m still bristling about the lack of diversity in every semptember issue of American mags. I actually covered my door in beautiful images and ads ripped out of the magazines and when I took a step back to look, there were no black, asian, or indian models. How disappointing. Having said that, I love Kiki’s lips.

I never stopped loving pink. Instead, my love expanded to include all shades of pink and red. So of course this editorial made me squeal with joy.
