Then I opened up my window and lost a piece of my nose to frostbite. In May. The boots had to come out of hiding. Stupid Boston.

I wish I had taken better pictures of this dress. It’s basically a giant silk rectangle with ties to make a bow in the front of the back. When it’s tied in the back all the fabric bunches up and it looks like a mini-bustle. I’ve worn this dress to weddings and to work. That is versatility baby!

The sun came out, it wasn’t freeze-your-nips-off cold. It made my day. In fact, a coworker said that she hadn’t seen me this happy since, well… summertime.

So I broke out my new oxfords and added some ruffles. And the super-opaque tights? They’re the new fleece-lined tights from plush. I’m going to do a proper review, but in a word? buythem.
